When we tithe to the church, we demonstrate that we believe God is the true owner of all of our possessions and our desire to honor Him in all we do.

Stewardship is a key component in the life of a follower of Christ. A steward is someone who takes personal responsibility for taking care of another person's property or financial affairs. As Christians, each of us is to take seriously the challenge to be good stewards of our gifts, abilities, time, and resources. Each of these has been given to us by God to manage during our time on earth.

God's design of the church centers around the members of the body each contributing a portion of what God has given them. Serving is a way to give your time and utilize your gifts in a way that builds up others both inside and outside the church walls. It is through the financial contributions of God's people that He intends to meet the expenses of the local body.
