Missions We Support.png

We believe that we are called to be involved in meeting the spiritual and physical needs of those outside our church walls. In Acts 1:8 the Apostle Paul writes "But when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, you will receive power and will tell people about me everywhere-in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."

Alpha Center - Fleet for little feet

Alpha Center’s Fleet for Little Feet is a mobile pregnancy care bus. The bus travels all over South Dakota, Iowa, and Minnesota, reaching rural areas to help women who, for various reasons, are not able to travel to Sioux Falls. The bus has made several trips to Planned Parenthood clinics, offering free ultrasounds to Planned Parenthood clients. The ultrasounds give women the first glimpses of their unborn babies. On-board counselors offer true and factual information about abortion and alternatives, helping women understand all the options available for them and their child. Typically, 87 percent of abortion-bound women will change their minds and decide not to abort their babies, after seeing the little babies, vibrant and very alive, on ultrasound.

Center of Hope

Center of Hope encourages and mentors people with the hope of redemption through Jesus Christ. Our focus is holistically addressing physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs of individuals that can only come through creating relationship and accountability. They work in partnership with community organizations to engage in a consistent and positive interaction with guests.

Whether its a temporary situation, life transition, or a long-term struggle with poverty, addiction, or mental health issues, the Center of Hope is committed to sharing the Love of Christ in tangible ways to our guests.  The specific ways that we do this are varied, but mainly we are providing information about programs and organizations; low cost bicycles to qualifying families and individuals for transportation and recreation; phones for local and long distance calls; computers for job search and applications; winter clothing and work-wear; faith-based nursing care; pastoral care; and Bible studies for men and women.  Each guest is treated with kindness and compassion in an effort to show them Christ's love in deed and word, ultimately for their good and for God's glory.

Missionary Amber Booth, Argentine Neighborhood in Kansas City

Amber Booth, a member of Good News Church, is involved with YouthFront Missions in the Argentine neighborhood of Kansas City. Argentine is an ethnically-diverse neighborhood that is mostly Hispanic. It's a working-class kinds of neighborhood with many young families and immigrants from Mexico.  Argentine has a lot going for it with new efforts at revitalization that are helping to change it for the better, but like many under-resourced urban neighborhoods, it has familiar problems of racial divisions and blight.

mission haiti

Mission Haiti's vision is to always be a ministry that glorified Jesus Christ is all they do. Mission Haiti wants to provide people with the opportunity to fulfill the command God has given in Matthew 10:7: "As you go, preach this message, the kingdom of heaven is near. Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received, freely give."

Their desire is to reach the people of Haiti one village at a time for the glory of the Lord.

Touch of hope haiti

Touch of Hope Haiti is working to see families strengthened in Haiti. They do this through their three core values:

Education: They provide free education to the children of our community; we believe every child deserves access to education.

Orphan Care: We care to the needs of the thirty-two children living at Tytoo Gargens Orphanage, with the hopes to one day see them reunited with family.

Job Creation: We believe families are meant to be together, so we strengthen and equip them through our Starfish Program and provide jobs at Rosie's.
